She got close to the truth (Picture: ITV)
For the first time ever, we actually saw Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths) feel a little bit panicked over the possibility of her operation falling apart in tonight’s episode of Emmerdale, and it was all because of Kim Tate (Claire King).
It’s been made clear that Celia has been running rings that include drug dealing and sex work for a while now, which means she knows exactly what she’s doing. When the likes of April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) and Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle) create problems for her, she can think of a solution with the snap of her fingers.
However, when problems arise that she hasn’t experienced before, that appears to send panic rushing through her veins.
In tonight’s episode, Kim found Celia in the café ready to enjoy a fry up. Kim wondered how Celia has enough time to sit and have time to herself if she’s running a farm.
Kim then dropped the bombshell that she’d be heading to Celia’s farm in a few hours to inspect it. Celia rents the land from Kim, which means she has to allow the landlord to see the state of the premises every so often.

A random visit left Celia worried. She tried to take control by pointing out that Kim needed to give a minimum of 24 hours notice, but this was a minor detail to Kim, and one she was prepared to ignore.
In the farmhouse, Celia was busy counting her latest wad of cash and sorting some paperwork. She then heard a knock at the door, and knew it was Kim.
Celia sent Ray Walters (Joe Absolom) upstairs with one simple instruction: Keep the slaves quiet.
While Ray attempted to keep the workers silent, Celia was working on a cover story for Kim. She claimed the noise upstairs were because she had workers in, and was incredibly reluctant to let her inspect the farmland.

Celia alluded to Kim that she owns chicken feed that would poison and kill her horses, should they consume any that gets picked up on her shoes.
