Baltimore Ravens star Lamar Jackson has dealt with a significant injury in 2025, as a hamstring ailment kept him out for three games. Considering what the team went through in his absence, there were big concerns when he appeared on the injury report for Week 12 with an ankle injury.

Now, the Ravens have offered some final clarity on Jackson's injury situation.

Jackson appeared on the injury report earlier in the week, and he missed a practice due to a new ankle injury. Though many began to sound the alarms on the potential that the star quarterback could miss another game, he was upgraded to a full participant on Wednesday and Thursday.

With two full practices uninhibited, Jackson is now off the injury report, as the Ravens have offered final clarity on his status for the New York Jets showdown.

Despite a matchup with the 2-8 Jets ahead, the Ravens cannot afford to lose many more games or lose at all. The team is currently 5-5, and on a four-game winning streak.

Should they lose two more games in their final seven games, they would be sitting at 10-7. While that record is not a guarantee they would miss the playoffs, the Ravens would need a lot of help to ensure they would make the postseason.

Losing Jackson for any more games would certainly put the franchise on a red alert situation, as Cooper Rush did not spark much confidence in his starts with Jackson out. Huntley did help spark the four-game winning streak, and he would likely be in line to start if the Ravens' star quarterback were hurt again.

Oddly enough, the Ravens had already appeared to be in some trouble before Jackson was hurt, as the team was 1-2 ahead of Week 4. Following his injury, the team dropped to 1-3 in their first four games, which was coupled with two more losses with Rush behind center.

Now, Jackson's return has sparked a winning streak, and there is hope the Ravens can not only make the playoffs but also win the division. They are 5-5, and should they beat the Jets, they will be at 6-5. The Pittsburgh Steelers own first place with a 6-4 record, and they are facing the surging Chicago Bears next.

By the end of Week 12, the Ravens and Steelers could both be 6-5, but Baltimore would overtake first place with a 3-0 division record. The Ravens have a good shot at winning since Jackson is no longer on the injury report.
