By Evan MasseyShareNewsweek is a Trust Project memberShedeur Sanders is set to make his first career NFL start with the Cleveland Browns on Sunday in Week 12 action on the road against the Las Vegas Raiders. After making his debut last week against the Baltimore Ravens and struggling, Sanders is hoping to come out and put together a much stronger performance.
With Sanders set to make his first career NFL start, many have been wondering whether or not Deion Sanders will make the trip to watch his son in person.
Of course, Sanders is the current head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes. His team will play at home against No. 25 Arizona State on Saturday at 8:00 p.m. ET.

While the questions about whether the Hall of Famer will attend his son's first start have been swirling, Sanders has now spoken out with his current thoughts on the matter.
...Sanders was asked whether he would watch his son on TV or make the trip to watch in person. He hasn't fully made up his mind about his plans just yet.
“I don’t know,” Sanders said. “I haven’t made up my mind yet. I’ve been urged to go. I’m pretty sure he wants me to go. You know how you want to be out of the way. You don’t want to be his distraction. But not that I would ever would be, but then you think, you know, he came all the way up here to see you. So, that’s even a shorter trip to go see him. You start thinking that as a dad. Because you know what it would mean to him if he just gets a glimpse of you before he walks out.”
The two had a lot of success together during Shedeur's college career. They had time together both at Jackson State and Colorado.

It will be interesting to see if the older Sanders decides to make the trip to watch his son in person. He clearly understands how much that might mean to his son.
Against the Ravens last week, Sanders completed just four of his 16 pass attempts for 47 yards, no touchdowns, and one interception. Hopefully, whether his dad attends the game or not, Sanders can put together a better performance in his first starting opportunity.
