The Philadelphia Eagles have lost two games in a row, and their offense was a major issue in both defeats. In their most recent game last Friday, the Eagles managed just 15 points in a loss to the Chicago Bears, which followed a Week 12 debacle in which they didn't score a point in the second half against the Dallas Cowboys.

Philadelphia boasts one of the most loaded rosters in the NFL on paper, but it has not been working for the defending Super Bowl champions for most of this season.

Following the Eagles' latest offensive flub, Philadelphia has announced it has made a wide receiver move, signing former Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Terrace Marshall Jr. to its practice squad, marking his second stint in Philly this year.

Marshall last appeared in an NFL game with the Raiders in 2024, logging three catches for 41 yards in seven appearances.

The 25-year-old was originally selected by the Carolina Panthers in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft and spent the first three seasons of his career with the Panthers, with his most productive campaign coming in 2022 when he hauled in 28 receptions for 490 yards and a touchdown.

Carolina released Marshall just before the start of the 2024 campaign, and he ultimately landed in Las Vegas midway through the season.

Marshall then signed with the Eagles back in April, but Philadelphia cut him before the campaign began and signed him to the practice squad. Philly then released Marshall again last month.

To be quite frank, the Eagles' receiving corps has not been the issue this year. The biggest problem has been quarterback Jalen Hurts simply not being on the same page as his pass-catchers, and A.J. Brown has made that very clear throughout the season. Even DeVonta Smith expressed some frustration earlier in the campaign.

Philadelphia is 8-4, but has gone just 4-4 over its last eight games and suddenly must fend off a surging Dallas Cowboys team, which has won three games in a row to improve to 6-5-1 with the NFC East still largely up for grabs.

The Eagles will face the Los Angeles Chargers next Monday.
