New England comes in with the NFL’s best record and a two-and-a-half game lead in the AFC East. Coach Mike Vrabel’s turnaround of the Patriots has been one of the league’s biggest surprise stories in 2025 after New England was just 4-13 last season. Second-year quarterback Drake Maye leads the NFL, completing 71.0% of his passes, and has 3,130 yards and 21 touchdowns against six interceptions. TreVeyon Henderson leads the ground game with 558 yards and five scores, and Stephon Diggs has 61 catches in 75 targets for 679 yards.
Dart returns after a two-game absence and led the Giants to their only two wins this season. In nine games and seven starts, Dart has 1,417 yards and 10 touchdown passes with three picks. Wan’Dale Robinson is the top target with 66 catches and 794 yards to go with three touchdowns, while Dart has also scored seven rushing touchdowns. Tyrone Tracy’s 398 yards top the run game with rookie Cam Skattebo out for the season. Brian Burns leads the team with 13 sacks. New York lost its fourth game it led by at least 10 points last week, falling in overtime to the Detroit Lions 34-27.
The Pats won’t have All-Pro special teamer Brenden Schooler (ankle) or starting left guard Jared Wilson (ankle). At the same time, defensive tackle Khyiris Tonga (chest) and edge rusher Harold Landry (knee) are questionable. The Giants have some injury concerns on defense, with cornerback Korie Black (bicep), safety Demetrious Flannigan-Fowles (neck), linebacker Swayze Bozeman (hip), and defensive end Victor Dimukeje (knee) all questionable. Edge rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux (shoulder) remains out.
