Fans of the Mexican grill chain, Chipotle, can enjoy free entrées as part of a holiday promotion called “Unwrap Extra” that Chipotle is running throughout December 2025.

Why It Matters

With Christmas around the corner, this is a notoriously expensive time of year, so Chipotle's holiday campaign could offer customers a chance to eat out without worrying as much about the cost.

What To Know

...

Beginning December 6, Chipotle will offer customers who dine in at one of their participating restaurants across the U.S. and Canada, Buy One Get One (BOGO) entrée deals on the first three Saturdays of December—from 4 p.m. until close.

On Saturday, Chipotle will offer customers a Tacos BOGO promotion, where if they buy a three-taco entrée, they’ll get another entrée for free.

Saturday, December 13, is the Burrito BOGO, which offers customers a free entrée when they buy a burrito.

Saturday, December 20, is the "Extra Sweater Day" BOGO (to coincide with the “National Ugly Sweater Day,” which is on Friday, December 19), which means if diners wear a festive jumper in a Chipotle restaurant and buy any entrée, they’ll get another for free.

The BOGO deals are limited to five free entrées per check. They’re also not valid for catering, mobile, online, or delivery orders, and customers can’t combine other coupons, promotions, or special offers.

Chipotle Rewards Members can also expect surprise perks during December, such as free guacamole, chips, and drinks deposited directly into their app wallets throughout the month.

Additionally, customers who place orders via the app or website between December 3 and December 22 will be given the opportunity to round up their purchase totals and give the extra money to the “No Kid Hungry” charity, which is dedicated to fighting childhood hunger. Chipotle has been a long-term supporter of child hunger-relief programs and has previously raised more than $825,000 to help support child hunger initiatives since the start of 2024, the company said.

What People Are Saying

Chris Brandt, president and chief brand officer at Chipotle Mexican Grill, said: "Unwrap Extra is about giving back to our fans and creating moments to come together around the food they crave with the people they love. With three consecutive Saturday deals and two surprise drops for every Rewards member, this is our biggest holiday promotion yet.”

What Happens Next

Chipotle will continue its holiday campaign through December 2025, and it may bring out further surprise offers and charitable opportunities to help everyone enjoy the festive season.
