Buffalo Bills star quarterback Josh Allen and Pittsburgh Steelers defensive tackle Cam Heyward likely won't be exchanging gifts this holiday season.
The pair had a number of altercations during Buffalo's 26-7 blowout victory over Pittsburgh on Sunday afternoon. After the game, Heyward suggested he was "ticked off" after Allen allegedly kneed him in the stomach during the first half, which eventually led to a several other run-ins.
"[I was] ticked off the entire game because, as a quarterback, they're protected, but I'm not," Heyward said after the game. "It just pisses me off." With just under six minutes left in the first half, Heyward claims Allen kneed him while he was attempting to get up after tackling the quarterback following a short run.
"He even said after, 'I had to do something to get you off me,'" Heyward said, suggesting it was an intentional act.

Allen addressed the incident after the game, suggesting it lit a fire in the Bills, who racked up 249 yards on the ground – a record for an opposing team at Acrisure Stadium.
"Maybe [got me going] a little bit," Allen said of Heyward. "We love the competitiveness out of this game. He's such a great player. Sometimes, you need fire like that to get you going."
While the two seemed to blame the other, new video appears to show Heyward holding onto Allen's hand and keeping him from getting up off the ground. The star quarterback then appears to knee Heyward in the stomach – just as the defensive lineman claims.

Given the new video evidence, it's possible the NFL hits Allen with a fine. Every Saturday afternoon during the season, the league announces its list of fines, of which, "striking/kicking/tripping/kneeing" is listed as a potential fine. Two such fines were administered after the Week 12 slate of games.
