An AFC North showdown between the Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers turned ugly when defensive back Jalen Ramsey punched wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase.
Ramsey was immediately ejected from the contest, but it wasn't until after the game that Chase's actions were known to the football world when the star wide receiver was caught on camera spitting on the Steelers defensive back. Chase initially denied spitting on Ramsey, but eventually received a one-game suspension from the NFL.
Chase wasn't the only party subject to a punishment from the league, though.

On Saturday, the NFL announced Ramsey was hit with a $14,491 fine for his actions in the confrontation. Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin previously told reporters he had "no message if someone spits in your face" before adding that a player or coach in that scenario should "do what comes natural."
What came natural for Ramsey was to grab Chase by the facemask and offer a quick strike to the side of his helmet. The reaction will result in Ramsey's wallet being a little lighter this season.
Meanwhile, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor addressed the incident and called it "crossing the line" before defending Chase's character.
"Obviously what happened is crossing the line. He'll own up to that," Taylor said. "Ja'Marr is one of my favorite players. I love how this guy handles everything that he's been a part of. So making one mistake doesn't disregard everything this guy's done that's been positive for us."
Chase won't play this weekend against the New England Patriots.
