Week 12 of the 2025 NFL season rolls on and the action will wrap up on Monday night with a showdown of two teams in the NFC playoff hunt as the Carolina Panthers visit the San Francisco 49ers at 8:15 p.m. ET on ESPN.

The 49ers steamrolled the Cardinals in a 41-22 blowout win last Sunday and enter Week 12 clinging on to the final NFC Wild Card spot. Running back Brian Robinson Jr. got a handful of touches in the victory and we’ll see if he sees a production boost in this primetime contest.

Below, we’ll go over Robinson’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 12.

Fantasy Football analysis: 49ers RB Brian Robinson Jr.

Robinson registered just eight carries for 24 yards in last Sunday’s victory over the Cardinals. It was actually his highest percentage of offensive snaps for the season, but he failed to cross the goal line for a touchdown like he had in each of the two weeks prior. The fourth-year veteran has emerged as a proper backup for Christian McCaffrey in recent outings and among running backs with at least 50 carries this season, he actually ranks towards the top in both rushing EPA and success rate. We’ll find out how big of a role he plays in Monday’s matchup.

Start or sit in Week 12?

Sit. The Panthers have had a middle-of-the-road run defense this season, but have limited opposing tailbacks to just 16.6 combined fantasy points per game. I’d expect B-Rob to have a somewhat productive outing, but not enough to justify a start unless you’re running thin at RB in a deeper league.
