By Andrew McCartyShareNewsweek is a Trust Project memberColorado State quarterback Darius Curry made his first college football start on Saturday, Nov. 22 against Boise State. After his actions during the game, though, he might not get the chance to start another game this season.
During a play in the second half, an apparent fumble that was eventually overruled as an incomplete pass led Broncos pass rusher Jayden Virgin-Morgan to block Curry. The quarterback took exception, approached Virgin-Morgan and then spit on the Boise State player - all in clear view of the Fox Sports broadcast cameras.
After the game, interim head coach Tyson Summers admitted he didn't see the incident, but made it clear Curry could be facing a punishment for his actions.

"I was told there was a situation with Darius Curry. I’ll watch the film. I’ll evaluate the situation and I’ll review it, I’ll address it. I’ll decide if there will be a disciplinary action for next week based on the standards of our university and our school and what we’re trying to uphold," Summers said, via The Coloradoan.
"We want to be known as a good football team. We want to be known as a school that plays with high sportsmanship and a team that plays with a high level of conduct and high standards and I apologize if we didn’t uphold that tonight. But I’ll take a look at the film and I’ll evaluate it and see where we need to move with Darius moving into next week."

Boise State head coach Spencer Danielson pushed for a punishment as well.
"The refs came up to me after and told me that they saw it on the replay, and that they’re going to handle it," he said according to the Idaho Statesman. "I’m sure there’ll be repercussions for him when he gets back home, at least I would hope so."
