Kelce ended the day with four catches for 43 yards. It was Mahomes who shone far more, coming through in clutch moments to help march the team to tie things up in the fourth quarter, along with the game-winning drive in overtime.
Mahomes ended his day with 352 yards, one interception, and four rushing attempts for 30 yards. The win not only puts the Chiefs at 6-5, but it also helped them in the hunt for the AFC playoff picture.
Taking down a big opponent like the Colts should also give the Chiefs a big boost to their confidence. Following the big win, Kelce was speaking to reporters when he brought back his impression of Mahomes.

Kelce was asked what it is like to play alongside Mahomes, especially watching him constantly show up in clutch moments.
"Oh man, you just believe, you believe every snap," Kelce said in his Mahomes voice.
The first time that Kelce impersonated Mahomes, the clip went viral. The pair were sitting next to each other in a press conference, and the impression led to Mahomes and the reporters laughing hysterically.
Following the hilarious impression, the star tight end praised his teammate in a regular way.

"He's the best. He is our fearless leader, the most competitive human I know. We love him for how he leads this team on the field and in practice throughout the week. Right now, he's leading us into victory," Kelce said.
Mahomes has been one of the most clutch players in the NFL for multiple years, and Sunday's win against the Colts was another instance of just that. Many began to doubt the Chiefs' chances at hanging with the bigger teams in the AFC, but they proved they can do that.
Granted, a 23-20 is not a dominant victory that would have made more of a statement, but it was a win that should go a long way to prove that the Chiefs should not be counted out.
Even with their multiple injuries in 2024, the Chiefs managed to win close games to propel themselves to the Super Bowl. They have a lot more work to do in 2025, but a win against the Colts is a huge step in the right direction.
