Recommended“Rhythm + Waves is where the world’s biggest sounds unite on one of Europe’s most breathtaking beaches,” organisers wrote.
“A next-generation festival spanning Rap, Bass, House, Techno and Drum & Bass – all on 100 per cent sand, framed by ocean views, and powered by world-class production.”
They added: “Set across 27 + 28 June 2026 on Praia da Rocha in Portimão, the Algarve, the festival blends the energy of a major music event with the freedom of a summer escape.”
In other news, Chase & Status have just been announced to headline Reading & Leeds 2026 alongside the likes of Fontaines D.C. and Florence + The Machine. The duo were nominated for two awards at this year’s BRITs – Best Dance Act and Song Of The Year (‘Backbone’ feat. Stormzy) – and embarked on a UK arena tour earlier this year. Chase & Status also topped the bill at All Points East 2025 over the summer. Meanwhile, D-Block Europe are currently out on a UK and Ireland arena tour in support of their new mixtape ‘PTSD2’.
