The specs on offer here aren't earth-shattering, but they do offer an affordable entryway into the world of PC gaming. They're not half bad, either; the Lenovo LOQ 15 comes equipped with an Nvidia RTX 5050 graphics card, meaning you can use DLSS 4 to get solid performance on just about anything you play.

This is a pretty sweet deal from Best Buy on the entry-level Lenovo LOQ 15. Since you're getting a 50-series card here (Nvidia RTX 5050), you get all the power that comes with DLSS 4 for silky smooth gaming. Are you going to be able to set everything to "Ultra" and crank out 60 FPS? No. But you will be able to get into PC gaming at medium-high settings for under $700, which is basically unheard of in today's gaming laptop landscape.

With GPU and RAM prices skyrocketing once again, getting into PC gaming typically isn't cheap. Which is exactly why this Cyber Monday deal at Best Buy makes a whole lot of sense.

You're getting Nvidia 50-series graphics, an Intel Core i5 processor, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 512GB SSD for $649.99. That's an absolute steal in today's market.

Depending on the type of games you play, you may need to cycle a few out because of the relatively small storage space. But I fit plenty of games on my 512GB Steam Deck, so you should be able to keep a mix of triple-A and indie titles in your active library at any given time (even with Windows taking up more room than SteamOS).

If you're worried about performance, DLSS 4 will carry here. No, this Lenovo LOQ 15 configuration won't let you play Cyberpunk 2077 at 4K Ultra settings with ray tracing enabled. But for $649, you don't expect it to - this is a perfect fit for online games like Rocket League and Counter-Strike 2, and Nvidia's upscaling will let you hit solid framerates in visually impressive single-player games, too.

Plus, at 5.06 lbs (2.3kg) and a battery life of up to 7 hours, this laptop offers decent portability for gaming on the go.
