The Lucha Brothers, Rey Fenix and Penta, made a major return at the AAA tapings on Saturday, looking for their next challenge. This marks the first time the acclaimed duo has reunited to team up under the WWE umbrella. The two formerly teamed together frequently in AEW, AAA, and other promotions worldwide.

During the AAA tapings in Mexico City, Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano were in the ring when the Lucha Brothers suddenly interrupted them. Rey Fenix and Penta called out the duo and immediately issued a challenge for a tag team match. This high-profile contest is set for the upcoming AAA Guerra de Titanes Premium Live Event on December 20.

Penta is currently an active fixture on the Raw brand. His brother, Rey Fenix, currently wrestles on SmackDown. Dominik Mysterio, ever the confident heel, accepted the major challenge on his team's behalf.

Mysterio reportedly accepted the challenge and quickly designated his duo as the “new Los Gringos Locos,” a nod to a famous heel team. This match-up will be a compelling clash of styles, pitting the high-flying Lucha Brothers against the strategic heel tactics of Mysterio's team.

Another match was added to the Guerra de Titanes card at the tapings on Saturday. This additional bout ensures that the event will be a chaotic and hard-hitting affair.

After the veteran group Psycho Circus were victorious against El Ojo, they were quickly thrust into a new feud. The team of Psycho Clown, Murder Clown, Pagano, and Dave the Clown earned their win before Bo Dallas appeared in a taped promo. Dallas, performing as Uncle Howdy, delivered a sinister challenge on behalf of his group.

He confirmed that his heroic faction, The Wyatt Sicks, had officially accepted their invitation to fight. Howdy promised that his group would introduce the legendary Psycho Circus to a “carnival of carnage” at Guerra de Titantes.

This contest is the climax of months of unusual attacks. The Wyatt Sicks have been systematically attacking both Psycho Clown and Pagano following their previous matches. This unique match promises to continue the strange and violent narrative the Wyatt Sicks have established.

The Guerra de Titanes Premium Live Event is scheduled to take place at the Arena Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. The event will feature other high-stakes contests due to the WWE and AAA working relationship. Two other championship matches are confirmed for the card, including the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship. Laredo Kid will defend that title against the rising NXT star, Je'Von Evans. Additionally, the AAA Latin American title will be on the line as El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. defends against Ethan Page.
