The Green Bay Packers enter 6-3-1 as a 6.5-point favorite with a noon local kickoff, riding a big-time road win over the New York Giants in Week 11.
While the Packers hold the edge in the all-time series (66-60-3), the Vikings have won two straight on the road and three of the last five matchups against Green Bay.
That momentum will be tested, however, as Pro Bowl linebacker Jonathan Greenard is set to miss his second consecutive game with a shoulder injury, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

Greenard, drafted 90th overall by the Houston Texans in 2020, has carved out a productive six-year NFL career.
In 75 games, he has 37.0 sacks, eight forced fumbles, 14 passes defended, one interception, one fumble recovery, and 210 total tackles, highlighted by a 12.5-sack breakout in 2023 with the Texans.
Last season, his first in Minnesota, he finished with 12.0 sacks, 59 tackles, and four forced fumbles en route to his first Pro Bowl honor.

Through nine games this season, Greenard has two sacks, 19 solo tackles, and one forced fumble, a dip from last year’s peak but still an important edge presence in Brian Flores’ pressure packages.
He suffered a left shoulder injury versus the Baltimore Ravens on November 9 and missed Week 11 against the Chicago Bears.
Despite practicing in a limited fashion on Thursday and Friday and being listed as questionable in the final Week 12 report, Greenard told local media he felt "good" and was "super confident" about playing.
However, subsequent reporting late Saturday pointed to him being unlikely to go, setting up a second straight inactive with the shoulder injury, which was confirmed by coach Kevin O’Connell on Sunday.
Without Greenard, Minnesota leans on Andrew Van Ginkel, 2024 first-round pick Dallas Turner, and rotational rush to sustain edge pressure against Green Bay’s strong run game.
