Arch Enemy have announced they have parted ways with frontwoman Alissa White-Gluz.
She joined the band in 2014, after replacing Angela Gossow, who decided to step away from the Swedish melodic death metal band, but remained their business manager. Previously, White-Gluz was a founding member of metalcore band The Agonist.
AdvertisementWhite-Gluz worked on four of Arch Enemy’s albums including ‘War Eternal’ (2014), 2017’s ‘Will To Power’, ‘Deceivers’ (2022), and this year’s ‘Blood Dynasty’.
In a statement, the band said: “Arch Enemy have parted ways with singer Alissa White-Gluz. We’re thankful for the time and music we’ve shared and wish her all the best. Wherever there is an ending, there is also a beginning. See you in 2026.”

In a follow up post, she also dropped her first solo single ‘The Room Where She Died’ and wrote: “I hope you love this first offering from my upcoming solo album” before adding: “This upcoming album is diverse; and I love the idea of opening up this new chapter with this song and video, which I wrote the script for.
