Earlier this year, Alexa Bliss returned to WWE after a hiatus, appearing at the annual Royal Rumble. As a surprise entrant in the women's Rumble match, she received an enormous pop as fans celebrated the highly anticipated return. She's since become part of a championship team and is heading towards a significant match at Survivor Series WarGames this month.

In her most recent storyline, Bliss' tag-team partner, Charlotte Flair, walked off from Bliss in the ring, suggesting she wouldn't participate in the women's WarGames match due to Rhea Ripley being part of the team. That led Bliss to call her out on this week's "Monday Night Raw," indicating that Charlotte wasn't returning her calls.

Eventually, another heel attack from Nia Jax, Lash Legend, and several of their WarGames teammates resulted in Charlotte rushing to the ring to fight them off and check on Bliss. As that story continued, another story outside the ring also developed, with critics calling out Alexa's appearance.

There had been online critics claiming that Alexa appeared "aged" in her appearance. However, the 34-year-old mother and wife fired back at the criticism, explaining what can lead to a change in appearance.

"I've seen the tweets - and all I can say is Having only 1 full day at Home a week with our non stop schedule & being a full time mom & constantly fighting exhaustion - will definitely take a toll on my appearance," she wrote on X, including black heart and crying laughing emojis.

The former WWE champion's statement drew many responses, with fans offering supportive comments about her appearance.

"You literally don’t age Alexa, pls ignore everyone that says otherwise, we love you!" a fan commented on X.

"Don’t listen to that noise. We can only hope to age as gracefully as you have. You keep kicking a** in the ring and being a mom," another fan wrote.

Another X commenter said, "You’re the goddess for a reason, Lexi!! Forget these trolls!"

Bliss, real name Lexi Kaufman, began appearing for WWE's developmental brand, NXT, in 2013 after signing a contract. She's gone on to win multiple championships on the main roster and is typically praised for her in-ring promos and work in various heel roles.

She had her first child, a daughter, in 2023, after marrying musician Ryan Cabrera in 2022. She spent several years away from WWE due to her pregnancy and time raising their daughter, Hendrix Rouge Cabrera, before making a surprise return at February's Royal Rumble.

The WWE SmackDown star's recent response to critics arrives over a week before she gets into the ring to team up with Rhea Ripley, Iyo Sky, Charlotte Flair, and a fifth tag team partner for WarGames. They'll battle a team featuring Nia Jax, Lash Legend, Asuka, Kairi Saine, and a mystery partner at the Survivor Series premium live event on Saturday, Nov. 29.
